It may be hard to believe but April is right around the calendar corner and that means Earth and Climate Justice Month at ERUUF with in person and virtual offerings. We invite all members and friends to join us in putting intention and attention on living our UU 7th Principle (ultimately all our Principles are related as we cannot have justice or peace without clean air and water, fertile soil, and stable climate) at higher levels of expression in practical ways, right here and right now!

Pulse Survey is Live and Open Until March 31st!

The "Pulse of the Congregation" is an anonymous survey that ERUUF conducts annually to obtain input from members and friends about how we're doing as a congregation. It asks for your feedback on
ERUUF's Ministry, where we define Ministry as that which we all do together as members of our faith community. Each part of the congregation – members, friends, leaders, staff, and ministers – has a role to play in furthering the Ministry and achieving our mission of spirit, service, justice, and love.

As a spiritual community, we at ERUUF strive to create a culture of respect and care for one another. Our Covid-19 policies have been guided by serious concern and consideration for the safety and well-being of all ERUUF members, staff, and visitors, with a commitment to equity and care for the most vulnerable among us and those who are marginalized both at ERUUF and in the larger community.

Background

ERUUF is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), the central organization for UU congregations in the United States. The UUA governing by-laws outline our Principles and Sources, the UUA’s Purposes, our Inclusion clause, and Freedom of Belief Statement with the section identified as Article II. The by-laws require that Article II be studied and potentially revised every 15 years. In 2020, the UUA established and charged a Study Commission for this purpose.
